NBN Cabling

A customer in Alexander Heights came to us with the requirement for an NBN installation to get his house NBN ready where existing Foxtel and Phone services will be switched off, and NBN will be provided through existing coaxial cable through the NBN HFC Network in many suburbs around Marangaroo, Alexander Heights, Ballajura but also in most of Perths western Suburbs.

In this house, Foxtel was delivered via a single coaxial outlet in the living room.  We recommended the customer to have a Satellite dish installed on the roof and twin Foxtel IQ2 compatible points beside the existing point for cable Foxtel.  This will allow quick “plug and play” switchover to Satellite Foxtel once existing Foxtel cable service is switched off and replaced by NBN.

An RJ45 outlet has been added, which will serve as an uplink port for the future to be installed NBN router to provide phone services to existing legacy phone outlets around the house.  We replaced the existing wallplate with a block and 6 slot wall-plate to house all connections neatly on one block.
